The latest nation to get featured in the 100 Years series is Ethiopia. The short spot spotlights the diversity of Afro texture hair. In less than 80 seconds, the model transitions from cornrows to a bob and even sports sleek, straight strands. Some of the hair and makeup looks are similar to what we wore back in the day (remember gold Scrunchies in the’90s?). But it’s obvious, Ethiopia has it’s own original flavor—especially when it comes to that pink eye shadow moment from the ’80s.
